Cincinnati picked up a win at Crosley Field, bumping off the New York Giants, 9-4. Pitcher Bob Muncrief was a major reason the Reds emerged victorious. Muncrief yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 1. His record improves to 3-2. The defeat makes New York 13-8.
