Cincinnati Slaps 6-4 Loss on Brooklyn
|
Cincinnati shortstop Eddie Miller was instrumental in helping the Reds triumph, 6-4, over the Brooklyn Dodgers. Miller went 2 for 3 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the loss, Brooklyn sinks to 11-11.
In the bottom of the fourth, Cincinnati second baseman Frankie Gustine had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Gustine stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 3-1, Cincinnati. For the game, he was 1 for 5.
