Browns Come Up Short at Cleveland, 3-2
|
Cleveland Guardians starter Mickey Harris pitched well against the St. Louis Browns at Cleveland Stadium, leading his team to a win, 3-2. The victory makes Cleveland 11-12.
Hoot Evers helped out the Cleveland cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the center fielder drew 2 walks.
"Mickey gets on the mound and he competes and that's what you want," said Cleveland manager Louis Farmer.
