No one was more impactful than Buddy Lewis in the 7-5 St. Louis win over Cleveland. Lewis, who is tied for 10th in the AL in total bases with 45, was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. St. Louis used the timely hitting of Leon Culberson to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Browns on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
