Fans watched the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds fight to the finish.

The Pittsburgh Pirates picked up a win at Forbes Field, topping the Cincinnati Reds, 4-3. On the mound for Pittsburgh was right-hander Murry Dickson. He played a principal role in the triumph. The Pirates, now 4-0, have hit the ground running this season.

Joe Grace was 1-2 with a walk for Pittsburgh. The 32-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring single off Bucky Walters. It was his 4th hit of the season.

Dickson attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
