Senators Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Yankees, 6-4
The Washington Senators picked up a win at Yankee Stadium, knocking off the New York Yankees, 6-4. Starting pitcher Hank Borowy played a key role in the triumph. Washington is now 20-22, New York 25-18.

George Case provided a timely hit. The Washington left fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Senators on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

Washington manager Ossie Bluege called it "a darn good win."
