Yankees Get Hard-Earned Win
The New York Yankees used a great performance from Dutch Leonard, who is a four-time All-Star, to beat the Washington Senators, 2-1, at Yankee Stadium. The loss has the Senators at 3-3.

The Yankees got a clutch hit from first baseman Hank Greenberg. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Yankees.

"The crowd was boisterous today," said Greenberg.
