Pafko Leads Browns to Win
A 3-RBI performance from Andy Pafko, who is tied for 5th in the AL with a .556 slugging percentage, helped the St. Louis Browns beat the Chicago White Sox, 8-2. Claude Passeau got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 9 innings, giving up 2 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. St. Louis goes to 5-7.

Pafko got the Browns off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Pafko.
