The Philadelphia pitcher struck out 8 and walked 2 while allowing 3 hits. "Blackwell was good but he wasn't flawless," Chicago manager Charlie Grimm said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Philadelphia, but this is on us."
