White Sox No Match for Newhouser, Guardians in 9-0 Thumping

The Chicago White Sox met their match today in Cleveland hurler Hal Newhouser. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," Chicago skipper Jimmy Dykes said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat."
In the 9-0 victory, Newhouser whiffed 8 and gave up no walks.
