Senators Borowy Dominates Red Sox

Hank Borowy had an impressive outing at Griffith Stadium, hurling the Washington Senators to a 7-0 shutout victory over the Boston Red Sox.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Boston skipper Joe Cronin said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the right-handed Borowy yielded 3 hits and tallied 5 strikeouts with 4 walks.
